ENR Skate Camp

Info
A Christian organization called Eagles Nest Ranch and some local Medicine Hat skateboarders are teaming up to do a skateboard camp. This camp is made by skateboarders for skateboarders.    The idea of this camp is to bring all the skateboarders from Western Canada together into one area to get to know each other. This is an outreach camp and will have a Christian aspect to it.
It is minimal cost and minimal effort. It will be great for team building and for all skaters to meet and hang out. It is based on not only the regular habits of a skater, but the regular wants and needs of one. With late nights and late mornings, this camp run entirely by skateboarders is exactly what you’re looking for.

Held on Canada Day, this competition sees hundreds of skateboarders from all over Western Canada come to Medicine Hat to compete for over $12,000 in cash and prizes. Secret Spot Sundays! Red Deer Style

June 16th, 2009 by Levi

Secret Spot Sundays is the newest craze in Red Deer. This event is a new invention. SSS first of all was created because Red Deer, just like any other city has spots that get old, and with an avid skate scene like RD, this wont suffice so thus SSS was created. SSS is thought up during the week by some handsome older skateboarders. It is then planned and built later on in the week while no one else in town has a clue about where or what is being built or modified. On Sunday the handsome older men who thought up and modified and or built a spot go down to the skatepark to tell all the locals and their friends to come meet them at a remote location that they modified. To the locals suprise, they find a new, modified, legitimized spot which is now the newest craze.

This is an amazing idea and does alot of the skateboard scene in Red Deer and we encourage others to get on board and take charge, start your own SSS, or better yet, get creative and think of your own new skateboarding game.
