I want my MTV
August 28th, 2008 by Stu
-Sup Ya’lll… so it’s been a while since our last update eh? and there has been toonnnnnes going on. 15 of our finest MHSA shredders including a penticton boi named Skylar and a couple oldies went on a huge road trip well known to skaters as Road Rage. If you have ever seen king of the road, it’s quite similar to that, we just dont make out with 40 year old women, anyways heres the video. O did i mention we got FIRST PLACE SUCKAAAAS!!!, the contest consisted of over 150 other skateboarders and about 10 teams in total and it took place in many areas around B.C. such as kamloops, kelowna, penticton and much more.
- In other news, Dwayne Preston and a couple homies recently headed east to Regina to be part of an audience for the 4 star Demo, apparently it was pretty sick especially since they got to hang out with the whole 4 star crew and Dwayne got a photo from the crew of his lakai tattoo on his arm, the photo is also posted on www.lakai.com.
- As you all have more than likely heard, Stuart (estuu) Young has made his decision to further his studies of becoming a lawyer at the university of Alberta, it’s a hard hit for everyone and i feel everyones feeling the painnnnnn, but we all are stoked for Stu to go kick some arss up there in the northern hemisphere…. haha. Anyways If you see Stu make sure to give him a push on the tush because you wont be seeing it every wednesday or sunday evening. But you better beleive stu is super involved with the MHSA and is gonna be visiting medicine hat quite regularly. O hey you guys should check this photo of him, this is way back in the day… mexico trip 06… i love this pic, it’s my fav.
- be sure to check back for new updates such as new photos and when in the fall skate skool will be back in action, along with building days, and other MHSA events.

June 23rd, 2008 by Stu
So Beat The Heat is coming up super fast, and we’ve been getting word from different areas that people are stoked to come. Should be legit.
For the first bit of news, we’re gonna be doing a SNAKE RUN GRAND OPENING PARTY at ENR the night before the contest. We’re gonna be shredding the park out at ENR, which we’re planning on having finished by then, as well as cruising down the snake run. We’re gonna be leaving the Kin Koulee skate park at 4, and go out and BBQ and celebrate the building of the snake run. For those people that are heading to Med Hat from out of town, you can crash at the camp for $10 ( all money goes to help send kids to camp), and drive to the contest in the morning. Contact Stu at 403-504-7807 to make arrangments. Gonna by hype forsure.

In other news..C1rca and Element pro Tony Tave will be guest judging the contest. Dominique, Elliot, and Zev from C1rca have been super helpful is making this contest hyped, and we’re stoked to get their boy skating and judging in Medicine Hat. I’m sure he’ll be getting some skating in, so come down to the park to see him.

New Central Obstacle
May 23rd, 2008 by Stu
So we’ve finished the designs, rounded up some amazing volunteers, and started working hard to have Central Skate Park completely redone by the end of the summer. Thanks to some amazing work by Greg at Kingsland Developments, along with some great help from many volunteers and tonnes of the skate guys, we’re looking to have the park ready to go. We’re claiming Canada’s Largest Indoor. If you know anyone who would like to help swing a hammer, and is decently good at it, email me at stu@enr.ca
